WHO IS PEACE LOVE DANCE STUDIO?


  We're a retro style studio with     
    cutting edge dance techniques!  


PEACE LOVE DANCE STUDIO is located inside the Blue Sky Sports Center just west of 377 on Golden Triangle in Keller,TX.  We are a fully functioning drill team studio dedicated to serving the community of Keller and its surrounding cities.  Our spacious, industrial style studio is beautifully decorated with neon colors and a retro style theme.  Parents are welcome to observe class inside the studio on one of our three comfortable couches while their dancer is engaged in class.  



The instructors at Peace Love Dance Studio understand that they are first and foremost a role model to the students; from how they dress, to what they say and the music they play.  Students are always paying attention.
It is our goal at Peace Love Dance Studio to set the right example.  We select appropriate dance attire,  provide encouraging words while teaching, and use age appropriate music in class.  The teachers provide students with a positive atmosphere and life long memories



Our curriculum at Peace Love Dance Studio is one of a kind.  By providing unique classes and weekly encouragement, PLDS teaches not only about dance technique, but team building, choreography and leadership.  Our goal is to provide great dance training in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.  We focus on enhancing the overall team experience - "It's not about me... It's about we."  We believe that team building and leadership skills play an important role in the overall training of a well rounded dancer.  Monthly focus skills in dance technique and character building are also included as part of our unique dance education. We finish every class with prayer.  So, if you love to dance, desire to be a part of a team, or just need to prepare for drill team auditions,then PEACE LOVE DANCE STUDIO is just for you.  We are driven to not only develop a student's dance skills but their character and self-confidence as well.

OUR PHILOSOPHY


  • It is our desire that a love of dance is instilled in each student through positive experiences and encouraging words.

  • We believe in being honest and straight forward.  By doing so it will help to set the right example for students of Peace Love Dance to follow.
  • Peace Love Dance Studio pays special attention to the kind of music, costuming and movement a dance routine has.  We want family and friends to enjoy the performance and not feel uncomfortable.

  • We believe that a hands on approach to dance training is paramount.  Students and troupe members have the opportunity to hone their leadership and choreography skills by leading stretching sessions or creating dance combinations.  We feel by providing this experience it can help build confidence in oneself.  This helps to make for a more well rounded dancer.

  • PLDS strives to instill a sense of confidence and self - esteem through participation in competition and community events.
  • Peace Love Dance Studio strives to build team unity amongst all students.  We do not believe in cliques. Our motto is "It's not about me...  It's about we".

  • We expect all students to be respectful to each other whether in the studio, at competition, school or any where else. All students should remember to treat others the way they would like to be treated {Luke 6:31 NIV}.

  • Students are asked to show respect by answering "yes ma'am" or "no ma'am" to all faculty, students and parents of Peace Love Dance Studio.  Polite manners are an important characteristic to have and  should continue even outside the classroom.

  • Peace Love Dance asks students to refrain from gossiping about other students, parents or PLDS faculty.

  • PLDS asks students to display themselves in a lady like fashion at the studio, Blue Sky or anywhere they go.  Whether you are wearing Peace Love Dance Studio attire or not, your actions and attitudes are a direct reflection on our facility.  You only have one chance to make a first impression.
